After re-installing the client to both NIC’s and rebooting the server all is working and install has completed with out issue.

Partly NEC software issues, partly our architecture layout. NEC sip gateway will only talk to one LCS / OCS server not multiples as we have in our environment.

Question is how do we route the other five OCS servers to the NEC sip gateway???? Hmmmm ………. The test is to connect one server to the gateway then see what happens if we route the others through that one..

Well it took a couple of attempts and various option flag settings to be worked out but the script is finally work.
There are several RTCSIP_Optionflag settings that a user can have against their account in AD for LCS / OCS settings and because of this we had to work out the different variables that each user may have set within our companies setup.

The various settings for RTCSIP are as follows:

‘ The msRTCSIP-OptionFlags attribute specifies the different options that are enabled For
‘ the user. It’s a bit-mask value of type integer. Each option is represented by a bit.
‘ Valid value types are:
‘ 1: Enabled for public IM connectivity
‘ 2: Reserved
‘ 4: Reserved
‘ 8: Reserved
‘ 16: RCC (Remote Call Control) enabled [telephony]
‘ 64: AllowOrganizeMeetingWithAnonymousParticipants
‘ 128: UCEnabled (enable user for unified communications)
‘ 256: EnabledForEnhancedPresence
‘ 512: RemoteCallControlDualMode
‘ 1024: Enable auto-attendant
‘ Example: 449 = 256 (Enhanced presence) + 128 (UC enabled) + 64 (anonym. participants) + 1 (public IM)

So from this list you need to work out all available options that maybe enabled within your environment.

This is much easier to workout using PowerShell so can’t wait until we roll it out into our environment, although it doesn’t support Exchange Server 2003
